year after year I buy these boots for my daughter and son. I first came across this when I couldn't get my daughter's feet to wear another type of winter boots when she was a baby. Other types of boots with a narrower opening at the top and removable insulation were very difficult to put on. At this point, she still didn't know how to keep her foot still and push it forward so it went into the boot. It was like trying to push limp pasta down a chute. Given the narrow opening of other boot types, the cute floppy little noodle foot never seemed to reach the ground and always got stuck in the shaft. I couldn't even imagine her trying to put those other boots on herself. These are very light and absolutely incredible. They're easy to put on, stretchy, warm toes and feet, and comfortable. I think my daughter started wearing them when she was 2 years old. She is now 7, her brother 5 and we have ordered several pairs over the years. They also have beautiful colors and if you keep an eye on them during the off-season you can get a much better deal.
