This is a very good quality acrylic base. They packed it well to avoid damage. When you first receive it, you may think that the two ends are not transparent, but it is actually a protective film that needs to be peeled off. The description also doesn't state that this frame needs to be assembled. If you have big hands this will be a little tricky as the internal space is small where you have to hold the nut at the end of the bolt. Two extra bolts and nuts are included just in case, which is nice. They also include a tiny screwdriver (although I ended up getting one of my full-size screwdrivers because it was easier to use than the small one that was included). They seem to give you the inside dimensions of each tray, but they don't. All measurements are external - and they're not entirely accurate. Luckily for my use, a little more outside width and smaller inside measurements worked well, although less than 12 inches inside width meant I could put one less earring in each row, meaning only 30 items fit for me. not 36 as I expected (I use it to display my handmade earrings in the store). Here are the dimensions for anyone who needs to know: External dimensions - note this is actually wider than advertised as the screw heads are sticking out. I measured and got a width of about 12-5/8 inches including the screw heads. Height and depth look very close to specs at 7.25 inches x 9.75 inches. The inside I measured: - 1-1/8" tall - only 1" deep (not nearly 1.53") - since there are 2 screws sticking out and taking up space on each side, the available width between the screws is even over 11.5". I've included a picture of the studs sticking out inside so you can see how they take up space on each side. I hope this information will be useful for the next person!
