Okay I don't use them for work. Here's the story: I don't sleep shitty shit. I use podcasts and/or audio books to help me fall asleep. I go to bed much earlier than my hubs, so I needed a way to block out his TV/gaming noise while trying to sleep. I used to use good quality earplugs with headphones on my ears. Unfortunately, if you've ever attempted to sleep with your headphones fully on, you know that lying (lying down? Who remembers?) on your back was the only position you could bear. headphones do. I even tried making my own using headphones and earbuds. Not very successful. And now I saw this on a DIY Network show, I want it! God, I REALLY wanted that! Came to Revain and they had them! And they work really well! Not as sound isolating as some earplugs, but almost, and the sound is amazing! I can also get replacement earbuds for them from Revain and as long as they are available I'm set for life. I leave them on all night (along with a full face CPAP mask and a sleep mask) and am in sensory deprivation mode all night. Even if I play all night, the batteries NEVER run out (I usually use sleep timers and keep turning them on at night when I wake up). Can't recommend them enough. They are perfect for all work, even when hearing protection is not required. If you want to focus without hearing other people wasting their time around you, these are perfect. Promise. And unlike a lot of people these days, I never lie. However, I have an ulterior motive: if you buy them, they'll stay in business until I die, and I don't need them anymore!
