Review on Deeply Nourishing Mario Badescu Bee Pollen Night Cream, 1 oz - Natural Skincare Delight by Robert Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A compromise between blotchy, burning skin upon application and soft, hydrated skin in the morning.

This night cream definitely moisturizes my skin. And my skin looks dewy and smooth in the morning even though it's labeled for sensitive skin, but it stings when I put it on and makes my cheeks red. It also feels very thick and oily when you first apply it, which is fine with me as my skin is very dry. I've recently moved to a harsher, dry climate and my skin has taken its toll. Despite the stinging and red spots, this is the only night cream I've found (and I've tried quite a few) that works all night so I don't wake up with dry patches on my nose and cheeks. . Although that is a compromise for me because of the combustion. Maybe someday I'll find a night cream that moisturizes all night and feels good, unfortunately this isn't the right one. For those of you worried about chemicals, it's packed with a plethora of ingredients, including bee pollen extract, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and beeswax, and unfortunately, methylparaben and propylparaben, and imidazolidinyl urea. While I will continue to use it very sparingly, I will not buy it again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin. I hope Mario Badescu will launch products with more natural ingredients in the future because I love their products and I usually get great results. This one just isn't for me, despite the great hydration it offers.
