I admit I'm that guy. The one who criticizes and thinks he's smarter than most. Ha ha ha, look at these idiots, I don't know how to keep the light from getting tangled. Well, I'm sorry to judge you. It all started well, I started on the outside of the spool as someone said it was easier. Made about 10 feet and it started to unravel and tangle. I continued, but soon everything became so confusing that I couldn't continue. No problem, I'm stubborn. Now I start to unravel from the middle and twist around a bit until I get to the ball. Walked about 100 feet and got confused again. So now I have 110 feet that are not tangled. Okay, I'll just go back and start spinning what I've already done and start over. Don't you know I couldn't even get past the 10 feet I wrapped around the rail and it got even more tangled. The pocket knife came out and I went to the trash can. However, this product is possibly the worst product I have ever purchased from Revain. Imagine attaching garlands to 300 foot long bread ribbons. That's it. Absolute rubbish and honestly I'm grateful I didn't struggle with this because I can't fucking figure out how to store/handle them.
