Review on 1999-2002 Chevy Silverado/Tahoe Headlight Assembly - 2 Year Warranty! by John Reese

I knew it was a roll of the dice- didn’t turn out well

I had a couple of issues. One, the LH turn signal assembly just would not engage the slot and latch in (see video). I tried a couple of things to make it work, eventually resorting to sliding a small diameter bolt behind the wall through the clip to hold it in place. I was going to be satisfied with that. But then the headlight assembly gave me fits as well. I never got to the point of actually installing it due to not being able to properly install the led bulb in the correct orientation. Again, I tried a few things to make it work but there was no way the bulb would stay securely in the correct position. After about three hours of working on this project I gave up, pulled the lower assemblies back out and reinstalled my old assemblies with the new Seagate bulbs (that fit perfectly). The issue is definitely with the QC of this product. They would have looked fantastic and I really hoped they would have worked out. I would up spending about $15 on a Turtle Wax restoration kit to breathe new life into my old headlights. These are going back.
