They are great for surfing in dangerous waters with jellyfish or to protect your feet from rashes from slipping on the board. Also great for surfing in the middle of the day and avoiding sunscreen. I have another pair that cost twice as much but I prefer these inexpensive Body Glove capris. They are light, not hot, not falling off, good looking and comfortable. I liked them so much I bought a second pair in a different color.
