Review on Polaroid ID820-WHITE-OD-2 Slim Digital Video Camera (Pearl White) by Jeff Bruno

Buying this camera is a tragic mistake for the average user. It comes with an illegible quick start guide that has some useless images that are so bad you need a magnifying glass to read them. and a 2.5" wide software CD that won't play on anything I have. The company sent an online manual of about 100 pages. This is not their guide, it's the publisher's guide; about 100 pages long and assumes that the novice user understands all the icons and symbols used. I didn't get it! I've been struggling with the instructions for weeks and can't figure out how to delete pictures or videos. They're blocked. The camera itself is very light and takes up almost no space but if you don't have a handle to hold it it becomes very cumbersome.Of course the handle doesn't come with it and it's not easy to find.Best Buy didn't have it so I use one long screw from my toolbox. Called the company for help three times. All three technicians spoke too fast and with a heavy foreign accent. The first shut down. The second was disabled and the third send me an online manual as it seems they don't have printed copies. So I think I'll have to memorize it - I doubt it will be very different from what I already have. I bought it because it was highly rated by some trade magazines. It's hard to believe.
