I wanted to love them. I wanted them to be the sponges I always dreamed of. In the beginning we had the best part of the honeymoon. Being able to make them soft or hard at will was such a treat until they started to spoil quickly. Small pieces of sponge fell off with each use. Now let me be VERY CLEAN. I bought 3 (THREE) 3 packs. It wasn't a weird anomaly from the same batch. I've been using sponges for a while thinking it might be a color or batch issue. The result was ALWAYS the same. disinfectant sponges. I'm just tired of cleaning up leftovers after doing dishes or whatever! The idea is great, but unfortunately it does not stand up to close scrutiny.
