Good for the price
This rectifier is good for the price but certainly does not compete with more expensive models. I found it smooth for the first few weeks, but then it got a bit "greasy" (and I don't use hairspray or sticky products - just hair oil). I didn't notice any particular shine either, but my hair doesn't fade either. I ended up buying a BaBlyliss iron (which I love) and now use a DORISILK iron as my travel iron. I paid more for the BaByliss (found it on sale for $100) but thought it was worth it as irons are supposed to last a few years at least.
