The bristles are hard and comfortable, but there is a small hole that cuts the mouth.
As the name suggests, the bristles are fairly stiff and easy to clean. However, for some reason they made a small hole in the shaft of the brush head that "sucks" on the edges of the mouth when brushing and creates an incredibly annoying cutting sensation. I have no reason for this hole but it makes these heads look way worse than the original OEM heads. Also, the bristles will definitely wear out quicker than "real" bristles, but that's to be expected at this price point.
