I only write reviews if I really like a product. This Colaze dehumidifier is one of the best dehumidifiers I have ever used! It has futuristic features in a small package. I received the device quickly thanks to Revain delivery. The box that the dehumidifier comes in is a standard brown box with an illustration. When I opened the box I noticed how well it was packed in styrofoam bumpers. The device itself looks very stylish and modern. The outer casing is a brilliant white luster. The first thing that struck me was how heavy and well built it is. Luckily, Colace uses caster wheels so moving it around is super easy! The controls on the top of the device are smart and intuitive. The large circular screen shows all the settings you have chosen. Below the circular screen is a touch strip that lets you swipe left or right to adjust the humidity level. There are also several adjustment buttons on the top. They just react and work. A free night light is built in that you can turn on and off (love mine, it looks great). The back of the device is very tidy and clear. Where the coils are, there is a removable filter. It can be washed after collecting dust and putting it back in place. Below this is a storage tank where the dehumidifier absorbs moisture from the air. What I really liked was the built-in automatic switch-off. If the tank is too full, the device switches off. If you don't want to empty it often, you can use the tube that comes with it. I really like that there are built-in handles if you want to move the device by hand. This is useful for moving it up. The dehumidifier runs quietly and makes no noticeable noise for me. I read in the very detailed instructions that came with it that there is a built in defrost function which is great for people in cold climates. I noticed that once plugged in it worked amazingly to remove moisture from my bedroom. I live in Florida and it's very humid here! My room became cozy and dry. I set it to 50% and that seemed like the best setting to me. I also recommend it to anyone who wants an affordable mid-range dehumidifier with a large tank and intuitive touch controls. Hot air comes out, but apparently that's how humidifiers work, so if you can feel warm air coming out, it works. Otherwise I had no problems with it.
