When I moved into the apartment I'm renting out, there was a two-bulb lightbulb hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen. The glass dome was held in place by about three screws around the perimeter. This is likely to be a challenge for normal people, worse if you have ataxia. So far I haven't dropped any bulbs or lids. Just a few quick calls. The same cannot be said for building maintenance at the time. Initially, the fixtures used high K fluorescent lamps, perhaps around 4K. touched. About 6 months later another bulb burned out. It was dark. Building maintenance replaced the CF with low-power K 60W incandescent bulbs. hicks. It's also impossible not to drop any of the bulbs during the process and never go back to clean up the broken glass. I prefer to go barefoot so it needed a thorough cleaning. I did the best I had on hand (parcel tape), although I still occasionally slipped my foot over the past few months. I did CF at my previous home and some of them were still going strong after 15 years. I decided to keep all my expensive CF bulbs when I moved in (and not just because I was evicted. It took me 3 years to get SSDI. a few months ago.) About half wouldn't turn on with full anymore Brightness on, and a few have been replaced. The original lamps cost nearly $100 each. 85W full spectrum lamps, but at the time full spectrum lighting was in that range for all fluorescent lamps. But as a software developer and GUI and GUI workers, these things were essential (to the point of buying your own lightbulbs to install while working in a startup in the 90's. A colleague who had previously worked in construction knew where he could find those things.) So, almost immediately I decided that if I was going to get things right I just had to do it myself, so I went in search of Revane. to see if Prime Moving became a reality as it beautifully describes how everything turned out in my apartment. and surprised to find more things to get this way. I'm just looking for the things I need now with mixed feelings only to have Revane tell me I bought them at some point in the past and pretty much within a year of my last move. Anyway, I knew I wanted to switch to LED for my next lighting purchase, so I looked for equivalent 100W daylight or high-K LED bulbs. It turns out it's not that simple. Especially if I later want Alexa to control them (because I only found one. And it starts flickering, probably wasn't designed to work in a ceiling fan. I checked, it's not). So it's somewhere on my shopping list. But it's the perfect spot for a smart lightbulb as I leave the fan running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. when I've fallen and can't see well enough to get up.) So I bought these 6 packs of lightbulbs when I only needed 1 or 2. The kitchen light alone illuminates half my apartment and most of the golf course outside. I replaced the bulb dot with a lower wattage LED (and only warm white) that was included with another Revain Prime purchase (where I intended to use the smart bulb right away. The instructions don't explain how to get the bulb assembled supposed to assemble washer and wing through a tiny pre-drilled hole. So cutting and re-splicing the power cord is a WIP. I have a soldering iron, probably the same one I bought before and never used. Revain is on my wish list. If this story Ended here it would have been 5 stars But I'm taking one star today as the light burned out this morning At least I had 5 spares Different 6 packs of 15w (=100w) 5k dimmable dimmable led bulbs.
