I bought these to use as a clothespin for my dog's harness on walks. I have a small breed black dog so I put lights on both sides of her harness to give other people visibility when moving. They came with batteries pre-installed which work - it has been used for a week so far. They also come with replaceable batteries, and the batteries are regular sized lithium batteries that are easy to find later. The included screwdriver is too small even for my small hands, but a nice addition if you don't have any other tools handy. There are also Velcro straps for each lantern to attach to other things. And a large clip to create a clip on the light, although there is no hole to hang on the light. The package also doesn't come with any instructions or additional information, so you can only guess how they work. battery replacement; etc. They emit enough light that you can see the glow from several feet away and have 3 lighting modes to choose from (solid, fast flashing, slower flashing/flashing). 3 packs contain one of each color. So far I am happy with them and would say that for less than $9 they were worth trying.
