I can highly recommend this product to start with. The light is very bright and the adjustable spectra are interesting. There are definitely four different lighting options listed as 6200k, 5200k, 4200k, 3200k. I don't know if these values are accurate, but they are very different from each other. . The adjustable brightness is well done and works for me - I usually leave it at the highest setting for my desktop. The overall look is modern, the construction feels solid and doesn't get damaged easily. Here are a few things that I think make a very good product. 1) The first "elbow joint" near the base doesn't allow for a full 90 degrees, at most it seems you can achieve a 15 or maybe 20 degree displacement from vertical. This prevents light from getting very close to the work surface - not a display limiter, but something that could be solved. If your head is higher than you, you must lower your head to adjust the controls and then move your head back to the correct spot. Since the controls are mostly "touch-sensitive", it can be worthwhile to attach the controls to the side of the lamp head, if necessary they have to be mirrored on both sides. This allows the operator to adjust the light intensity and spectrum without lowering their head or otherwise moving their hand. This should smooth the transition from the sharp cut. Consider wrapping the gasket around the entire joint area so no sharp edges are visible. 4) This part is difficult; Assembly is easy and the light head itself is light, which is good, but when attached to a workbench, any slight vibration on the workbench, such as vibration, will result in vibration. For example, writing on a notepad causes the lamp head to "tremble" a little. If the bench was very heavy or bolted on, this might not have happened. Is there a way to add a stabilizing weight to the head so it doesn't wobble, no idea. 5) Finally, this is not a complaint as such but a request for an option, the light is bright but still slightly diffused. Is it possible to add a spotlight feature; something like an extra 4 or 6 LEDs in a small circle that are very bright and not filtered by the diffuser. Place them near the end or top of the light head so the operator can use the extra bright feature of a small spotlight when needed, just a thought. A NOTICE; The Light's head pivots, this was mentioned in a review of a competitor product, this reviewer said it was a good feature and I totally agree. If the head didn't rotate, the light would likely shine uncomfortably in the operator's eyes, the adjustable tilt prevents this - a big plus. Overall great product, highly recommend!
