Because my husband and I have been repairing jewelry for so long, I knew what to expect when I bought these earrings. I opened the little box and thought it was so pretty. Before I buy it, I read all the reviews first. Some of the complaints were about wearing the earring. First of all, the earring is very heavy, so the center stone does NOT sit on the front of the ear. It will go down a little. Second, there was a complaint about the inability to securely close the earring once opened. You can bend the pin up slightly with your finger until the earring snaps into place. This is costume jewelry, you can't expect them to perform the same as more expensive jewelry! These earrings are wonderful! The problem is not in the subject, but in the person who works with it. Treat your items with care and they will last longer! 🙂
