Review on 🍽️ Sophie Conran White Platter by Portmeirion by David Stewart

I needed a large flat cake plate and this fitted just right. It has a texture that embellishes it a little. Most of the surface is flat except for a small edge that would be perfect for my Caramel Sauce Cookie Cake. I hesitated to buy as others noticed it was deformed. It's wonky (the lip rises higher on both sides). It almost looks like a design element, so I can't be sure it's not intentional (symmetrically wobbly). It doesn't bother me at all and for the price I'm very satisfied. Haven't used it yet so I hope it's strong and like that. Edge to edge is 12 inches. The flat surface that the cake sits on is about 11 inches in diameter.
