Review on Paperlike Screen Protector for iPad Pro 12.9 2018/2020 (PL2-12-18) by Ada Bronowicka ᠌

Poor product, the quality is below average.

I want to warn anyone who wants to buy a Paperlike: perhaps your drawing style may be too aggressive for this surface. Personally, I'm thinking about buying silicone pen tips and trying them out.

Pros
  • Good packaging, installation kit available (alcohol wipes, guide stickers, fine cleaning cloth, dust removal stickers). The film itself is pleasant to the touch, it really resembles paper in texture. No longer afraid to stain the screen with fingerprints. As a protective film when working in touch mode - excellent.
Cons
  • Diffraction from a matte surface: color noise appears, which is noticeable when working at a distance of less than 50 cm (but this is expected from matte films). Worse than the other: for eight hours of drawing, the film was scratched by the Apple Pencil as if it were a film for 300–500 (see photo). Not 2022 at all (two such films are included). What will happen to her in a week, I'm afraid to imagine. Biggest disappointment ever.

Pros: The screen became matte, the color reproduction did not go, the feeling of paper - as promised Its cons: The film is scratched when drawing, you need to find the optimal pressure
