Review on Refurbished Sony Alpha NEX-3 Interchangeable Lens Black Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens: An Affordable Upgrade for Exceptional Photography by Nick Brunner

We bought this camera to replace an outdated point and shoot camera. This is exactly what we were looking for - a way to take simple photos (the automatic mode works very well) but with the ability to adjust manually. The picture quality is excellent for me in automatic mode. My wife is more photography savvy and managed to get some really good shots with the manual settings. Basically we are very satisfied!
