Many years ago I made bookmarks out of waxed linen. I recently picked it up again and tried almost every waxed string and none of them turned out what I wanted. It's linen, that's the difference. The light wax coating melts a bit between your fingers if you hold it for a bit so you can shape it around the knot for a professional finish. It is very easy to work with, thin and strong, thin enough to be handled by a regular bead. Even crystals work with it. After a long search I finally found the perfect wax cord.
