Sole too flexible - Women's

This is the first real shoe (not slippers) I've had to buy online. I usually have to try on a dozen pairs before I buy one, but due to the pandemic, all stores were closed. I think these sandals are really good for something I could buy without trying them on, but I'm not 100% satisfied. I like that they are light and soft, don't cause blisters even after hours of walking, and look great with any outfit. The landing is a bit strange. The sizing (length) is most likely correct, but they appear to be too big in the front and too small in the back. The arch support is too far back so that there is a lot of space between the toes and the front edge of the sandal (about 1.5-2 cm), but the heel is flush with the back edge and probably even hangs a few millimeters above it. . I can't easily move my foot forward, it slips back after a few steps due to the arch support. The soles are very flexible and that's actually a problem. Maybe it's the way I walk, but sometimes when I lift my foot to take a step, the toe touches the ground and the sole arches inside out and I stumble.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
