I have to agree with other reviewers. My main complaint is the poor sound quality. In theory, this unit would be great. The digital format offers many advantages over cassettes. Indexing is a great feature that allows the user to find key passages easily. But the playback is noisy and the recording is weak. I thought it might be my feature but I swapped it out for another one and encountered the same problem. In addition, the constant display quickly drains the batteries.
