Review on VibraLITE Mini 12 Alarm Vibrating Watch: A Stylish Companion for Women's Watches! by Heather Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's a simple vibrating alarm clock that does what it's supposed to do.

This is a cheap watch. The cheapest of several vibration watches I've bought. The strap broke after just two weeks of less than moderate use. However, this is my favorite vibrating watch. I've bought half a dozen vibration watches over the last few years. One of these watches was oversized, waterproof, shockproof, and probably solid all around. He will probably survive the coming apocalypse. It only had three alerts, which were very difficult to keep up to date when you use those vibrating alerts a lot. The main reason I have a watch with a vibrating alarm is because others don't hear it and get annoyed by the alarm. If you've been using this clock to stay awake during church services, the vibrating motor makes such a noise that you're likely to be hit on the head by an old lady. Normally that wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't using a bound hymnbook. Other watches I bought had eight alarms, which was much better, but they still made too much noise when vibrating. When your girlfriend or wife is forcing you into romantic movies at the theater and you use this clock to count down the minutes to minimize boredom, you run into trouble when the vibrator goes off during a quiet scene - sounds like a goddamn lawn mower in a quiet movie theater . Also bought an expensive vibrator watch that cost 3 or 4 times as much as this mini watch and had 12 alarms. It was a bit more similar but still made too much noise, also they were prone to short circuits when you reprogrammed the watch rendering the alarms almost useless. Limitations. If you've ever set the time on a digital watch, it won't take you more than 2 minutes to understand how to use this watch without a guide. Really simple and easy to use. The clock itself is slightly larger than a quarter circle. It also has a countdown timer from 24 hours. When it alarms, it will beep for 20 seconds if you don't press any button to turn it off. As a test, I put it on at a grocery store and arranged it to sound an alarm while holding the watch about a foot or so from another shopper's head - pretending to reach for something on the shelf and open it wait for a reaction. A man stuck his finger in his ear as if he was having a tinnitus attack. The woman rubbed her hand gently over her ear as if repelling a flea. But most of the time no one heard anything. One of my observations with all of these vibrating alarm clocks is that you may not feel the vibration even if you're doing moderate exercise or light physical activity like mowing the lawn. So paying for an expensive vibrating watch with lots of bells and whistles to use while swimming, competing for prizes or whatever is a waste of money. But for most daily activities like driving, walking, working on computer, doing housework or office work, etc.; this watch is perfect. Don't ask me if I'm selling my other watches, I've given them to all the people I don't like and I'm sure they're great at annoying them. By the way, when my watch strap broke, I just tied the watch to a better strap with fishing line. Works perfectly.
