Review on 🐶 AvoDerm Natural Puppy Food: DHA for Brain & Eye Development, Chicken & Brown Rice Formula – Dry & Wet Dog Food by Amy Dockery

My puppies love this food! We read an article about the best dog food and it was in it. Our breeder was using the Hill Science diet which tastes the same as this and we continued on it for the first few weeks until I read this article and found out that Hills Science was on a list they DO NOT recommend. There were many very expensive products on the list and this one was one of the cheapest on the list so we decided to give it a try. Differences: 1. Feed pellets are smaller and rounder. 2. When you add water (because they are puppies) it turns into sauce. Hill's food just spread like a sponge but didn't turn into sauce. 3. My puppies love it! They practically inhale food. At the Hills, they just ate their food, but it took a while, and sometimes they didn't even finish. With this food they love to eat, eat every bite and want more. Now they want to eat all day! They keep checking the kitchen to see if we have more food prepared for them. We have two Vizsla puppies from the same litter. One has slightly looser bowel movements and flatulence (after switching to it) and the other doesn't. I think this means that problems with "soft stools" and "gas" are individual dog specific. We only used dog food for 4 days. The difference in appearance was enough to convince me and I'm willing to put up with problems as long as it doesn't hurt or harm them. This has never happened before. I will give him 3 more weeks before making a final decision on switching to another food. I wouldn't want to do that because she loves this food.
