Great starter robot for a 5 years
This robot was an instant hit with my 5 year old grandson. It works pretty well in solid surfaces but even the smallest nap carpet makes it pretty much useless. It doesn't drive straight but provides hours of entertainment. It's goes at a good speed for a 5 year old and is easy enough to control. There are some decorative buttons on the control that do nothing. We continue to remind him not to pick it up by the head which was a common complaint in the reviews.
