I've been a professional cake decorator for many years and these cake drums are by far the best I've ever used. Most importantly, they are very strong and can withstand the weight of multi-tiered heavy cakes. Add to that the outer headbands have a perfectly flat surface which is perfect as such or if you want to stick it over it to give it a nice finish. (I love the champagne satin ribbons that come with the sets.) I'm very picky about decorating my cakes. I've seen many cake makers making beautiful cakes only to display them on a board with jagged edges (which they don't even cover with tape). The icing on the cake is the fantastic customer service, so to speak. When Cakebon wasn't the size I wanted, they responded to my query the same day and then continued to contact me regularly to let me know when they were back in stock. This company obviously cares about their customers and goes out of their way to be helpful. Thank you, Cakebon. You have a very grateful customer for life! :)
