Great alternative to the best cotton balls and tampons

The first time I washed them on the gentle cycle there was very little makeup residue on them. Since then I have washed in a large mesh bag on the regular cycle and they wash great. You have to dry them, but we dry almost everything, so it's no big deal. They are larger than a typical cotton circle so they don't fit in my existing container. Not a difficult problem to solve. The average jar qtip works fine. Slight learning curve as the toner does not absorb immediately. You have to give it a second to soak or it will roll out of the circle. All in all, less waste with minimal inconvenience.
