Review on Anker Delivery Charger PowerPort Compact by Jessica Morris

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Anker 30W PIQ 3.0 (A2614) is a very bad and dangerous charger.

Very bad soldering quality. Lots of soldered snot. Non-soldered parts. Unwashed flux. There is no shorted induction coil. There is no X-capacitor. There is no input overvoltage protection. No shielding. Lots of EMI. Poor maintainability Supplemented Dear anchor, sorry machine translation is wrong (I speak Russian/Ukrainian) The main problem is NOT the X-capacitor. I know this has nothing to do with protection. I know built-in security systems. I have all the technical documentation for this charger. Problems Elsewhere: No full screening. There is no NTC input resistance. No varistor and/or TVS at the input. Some parts are very poorly soldered. In some places is Lötrotz (that's dangerous). No protection diodes on the USB-C data line output. And much more. I really hope that in the future you will make a better .PSI charger and I also hope that in the future you will make a charger with a planar transformer instead of a traditional one. I would happily buy a better quality tiny charger like the attached Navitas 65W demo.
