EDIT 6-2021 I've put hours into it and I really like it. This does not change my original rating or opinion. If you're not ready to really dig and get frustrated doing it, buy something else. If you don't mind making the effort, you won't be disappointed. I'm curious as to why they chose tactile dial pads and touch buttons for the rest. I personally would prefer everything to be tactile. There's something reassuring about the toggle button action that lets me know it's working. ------------------ I want to love this thing, but I have the original Elgato Stream deck and day and night setup and functionality. Stream Deck is SO easy and has so many plugins. LD Live is SO difficult. The hardware looks and works amazing, but it can't solve the lack of streamer plugins and setup issues. All buttons are touch-sensitive and have tactile feedback, but there's something about the physical button that works. I'm still getting used to them. Watch faces are cool but limited for streamers in my opinion. If it's for streamers, the use case is DURING streaming. Resize overlay with dial in middle of stream? Probably not often and never. During setup? Of course. But I don't need a $250 keyboard replacement for that. Feedback for Loupedeck. Instantly find someone profiling MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, NVIDIA Broadcast and anything else they can. Ask someone to create a great library of ready-to-use icons/graphics. And find some cool use cases for it that will surprise people. If you're having trouble with the installation, give Elgato a call. You did it. In my opinion if you are a streamer just buy a stream deck. Simple, works right out of the box. The monkey can figure it out (no coding degree needed) and you can adjust the angle! Unfortunately it's not worth it as the market leader already has something that works better and cheaper.
