Great belt at a great price! The belt is made of thick, high quality, durable leather with excellent stiff stitching. The buckle is simple and uncomplicated, but very stiff and made of high quality solid metal, not folded tin scrap like Chinese belts from Walmart. I carry bulky and heavy gear on my left and right side and this strap made the weight disappear and the bulk stayed in place. I felt very comfortable from the first moment. This strap is stiff so the weight of the gear is distributed around my waist without being too tight in some problem areas (like Chinese straps). The belt does not twist and does not sag under heavy loads. I've been using the belt daily for several months and it still looks brand new. No doubt it will last me 10 years or more.
