I use these shoes every day on a hike. 4-5 km per day. I walk about 120 miles a month and this is solely for that. No other activity. Of course where I go there's a lot of sandstone and it's rough, but they fail. I drive them 300 miles max before they become grass cutting boots. The last pair had worn heels, but I didn't take off the liners and shook out the sand every day. These shoes came off at the toes and had to be removed. This is one of the few shoes I can wear that doesn't cause hip and back pain for long miles. I'm not a runner, but I've run many miles on my feet. I will put them at the top of reliability for the price.
