I have 3 longhair and 4 shorthair cats and a Belgian Malinois. And they all shed a lot. I just tried the gloves on my Maine Coon boy and he really liked it. And I have a lot of fur. His sister ran away from me and wanted nothing to do with it. My little black shearling loved it and my tortoise sat and watched from afar. Then I went downstairs and tried it on my gray short hair in double coat and he thought it was great and I got about a handful of fur. Then I tried it on my Shorthaired Bobtail and he liked it too. I'm seriously considering buying a few more pairs to keep upstairs in the living room and common room for quick and frequent grooming sessions. Maybe I don't need to vacuum as much anymore.
