Review on πŸ’Ύ Enhanced Search-Optimized SanDisk 16 GB Class 4 microSDHC Flash Memory Card by Ikki Martini

These cards don't even work in their own Sansa/Sandisk products.

I bought two of these to increase the capacity of two different Sansa/Sandisk MP3 players. All in all I tried these cards in 4 Sansa/Sandisk MP3 players before I was done. None of the microcards worked in any of the 4 Sansa/Sandisk players no matter what settings were made. Went online to the sandisk site and no information helped. Couldn't even check with Sandisk before or after purchase which card would work best for my purpose, so I tried this "Hail Mary" attempt, that's how poor Sandisk's product support is. None of the MP3 player manuals speaks of an increase in storage capacity. I'm not sure why they bother to include microcard ports in their players. Of the 6 Sansa/Sandisk MP3 players and 2 Microcards purchased, only four MP3 players worked (two didn't even survive their own "initialization" process: plugged into a PC and they wouldn't start), and one this player fell into lapse today. my attempts to get these microcards to work and now after today's card failures they are no longer recognized by my computer and had to be thrown away. I'm no tech guru, but plug-in and play is commonplace without Sandisk hiding product information. The microcards were not even compatible with Sandisk's own MP3 players, regardless of whether the settings were activated on "Auto Detect" or "MCD", neither the MP3 player nor the PC recognized the built-in microcards under all settings.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • So far so good
