There's a reason we don't shave with lotion.
Why don't we shave with lotion? Because you can't get lotion off a razor, so once you do, the razor is dead. I didn't think this would have the same problem but I spend ages trying to get this stuff off my razor. It's soft and moisturizes my skin, but it's just a pain to work with.
