Some will probably think it's more than 4 stars but I gave it 5 stars because I so thankful to finally have it. which actually turns on on the first try. I bought one a few months ago which I think cost even more than this one and most of the time it didn't turn on. This one is made much better. I have pink and I love it. It's really thin but feels sturdy. The switch seems well made for the price. Definitely 5 stars for the price. I'm fairly new to diamond painting which I use this for so I'm having a hard time understanding how to select lights online. After my buying experience, I was afraid to try again and fail. It was one of my wine items so I couldn't do without it. I'm so glad I chose him. I thought I would be disappointed with the smaller size but I actually like it more. I can sit in a chair and draw on my lap. It is very easy to decrease or increase the brightness of the light. Simply touch to turn on, then place your finger on the switch and hold gently until the desired lighting appears. If you've gone too far, you can turn it off and try again. However, it keeps the same lighting you selected the last time you used it, but you can easily change it with the same setting. It's getting pretty light and dark. No one can say it won't be light enough or dark enough. You seem to have covered all the bases. I appreciate that it is not a smooth surface like glass. Rather, it's covered in matte plastic. This is much more user friendly. At least for diamond painting.
