This is a case in point for the phrase, you get what you pay for. So if you're experiencing back pain—of any kind—seek help and comfort. . . it is *not* and very likely. . I bought this a few weeks ago after breaking my back in a fall. Therapy wanted my lower back to be better supported on chairs around the house, so that's what I got. At first I liked him very much. He supported my back without putting too much pressure on the hematoma. But already in the second week of ownership with daily, but not constant use, this pillow quickly degrades. It no longer returns to its correct curved shape and quickly flattens out. I also have a feeling that the pillow foam inside the sewn-on cover is starting to degrade. I can feel granules forming, small balls of foam detaching from the main pillow. At the current rate and speed, I doubt this thing will last a month. I'm not too heavy either. If used for a child or a very small adult, maybe it could last longer. Anyway, my guess is that before Memorial Day it will either be returned or sent to a landfill.
