I bought these to highlight our group's lighting when we play in small clubs. I have some old school American DJ lights that draw 600 watts, glare in small spots and are too bulky to try and set up. I'm a little surprised at how smart these little guys are. The variety of resulting patterns is not bad for such a simple gadget. They respond well to music without being obnoxious. We use a smoke machine and the audio stream is good but not very clear. They are excellent as an economical light source for dance floor parties or for DJs looking to fill in gaps in their lighting systems. The only downside we had was that while a remote can control both lights if they are more than a few feet apart, the remote will not control them in sync. That wasn't too bad since you're clicking on one color or one could adjust speed pattern , and the other to another. Overall a good accent to the show for the price. If only they could hold without breaking. We will see.
