My friend just got her first cat. She had always loved dogs, but her son bored her. She has a small adult dog, so she wanted her new (teenage) cat to have space that she could use to get away from the dog if she wanted to. I thought it would be the best gift for a cat. It was/is! It was so easy to put together and it gives Zipper a lot of horizontal spots for her cat to lean back. There are also parts of a scratching post and a cat cave. Fishing rod toys are fun but can be removed if your cat wears them out or you need extra space. It's perfect for my girlfriend and her cat. Your cat loves it and it's the perfect size for her apartment. I highly recommend!
