Just relax and imagine you could buy a $50 4K action camera. Seriously think about it for a minute, a deck-sized camera with 4k capability for fifty bucks. It's not Hero 9, but if you were looking for Hero 9 you wouldn't be looking. Camera, that's the point. It's a great camera for the price, for 99.999999% of us it's not enough. Advantages of this camera, price, quality, accessories. Application. At first I didn't want to install the app (simply because everything requires an app), but once I did, the camera really became that much more user-friendly. The controls on the camera are sufficient, but if you tether it to a helmet (like me) it's very difficult to change settings. The app has very simple controls and makes it much more enjoyable. This is a really good camera for the average user. Now for the cons, the battery life isn't the best, I was going to use a frame case and it didn't fit enough for me to be comfortable. So overall no, it's not a $350 GoPro, but it's really unfair to compare it to a $50 action camera that looks and works really well, and if it ends up at the bottom of a lake sinks, falling off a cliff is not a great financial loss. You have a lot of sense. I tried to upload a video for this review and Amazon gave me an error, but check YouTube for some great video examples.
