Another reviewer said it made their carpet slippery. I haven't experienced that, quite the opposite. It completely removes oil and oil from lotions/creams and really helps in my yoga practice because it prevents slipping and gives the mat its natural stickiness back so my feet and hands don't slip! It even gets into the cracks of the carpet and makes it shine! I love it! It's a lovely scent and not overpowering in my opinion, but aromatic enough to leave a clean, refreshing eucalyptus scent on your carpet. At first I thought it was a peppermint scent but I think it could be a combination of both plus a very clean scent. The ingredients say it contains "perfume", not essential oils, but they did a good job on the scent because it smells like real essential oils. One thing about this cleaner is that it also kills viruses because it contains 'Alcohol Denat'. It doesn't feel like too much alcohol and doesn't smell like alcohol, but it does the job, which is great for coronavirus and other types of germs. The product is well balanced with water, aloe vera and witch hazel making it a very natural cleansing product with no harsh chemicals. I think the alcohol also helps remove oils from the mat as I mentioned. The bottle is quite large and I think it is intended for use in a yoga studio. If you have a yoga studio this is an amazing product. You can ask your students to leave their mats and have your staff go around spraying the mats. I use a dry mop to clean my carpet and it works really well since you don't have to bend down and rub. It's a huge bottle (32 oz) and doesn't last long so this bottle will last. Time. The spray head is of very good quality and you have the choice of a fine mist or a directional jet (which is good for areas of the mat with a lot of dirt). I use it at home on my large large yoga mat that I have in my living room. I leave it unrolled and then use the cotton blanket as a living room rug. I clean the mat with this spray and when it dries I lay out the cotton blanket and it keeps the mat clean until the next yoga practice. I have included some photos of my rug so you can see how nice and clean it is. This spray is fantastic and I'm so glad I found it! I think the price is reasonable for the high quality ingredients and how effective it is specifically for yoga mats. I confess I use it on my floors and even countertops because it cleans so well and smells great! It's definitely a 5 star product, plus it's made in the USA, bravo!
