This is the second feeder I've tried. The first feeder was fine until my wife pushed it into the aquarium, after that it just didn't work even after drying really well. This feed holds more feed than my last one, but the fill hole is not as big so filling can be a bit messier. I put paper under the feeder to catch whatever they dropped and then put it back in. If you want to use rechargeable batteries, they fit very snugly, but I was able to fit them. But they showed a low battery on the feeder even after just charging them. These were new batteries, which I also bought this year. I ended up putting in non-rechargeable batteries and the ones that show as fully charged. Some nice features: there are two ways to attach it to the tank: with a clip or stick on the hood, my last one could only be installed on the hood, which got it into the tank. This feeder is large and hangs too far down so I placed it at an angle to fit over the hole in the lid so the feed mostly goes into the tank. Tank. I had to stick a piece of clear tape next to the light source to keep the food from piling up. Installation is pretty easy, about the same as my previous feeder. This only allows wartime. But the good thing is that you can do up to 4 feedings per day with 1-3 rotations per feeding. My last serve only made up to 2 turns each time. Overall I am happy with this feeder.
