I bought this in hopes that our cat would at least try it and to my surprise she really loves it. We have it next to the sliding door on the ground floor for her convenience to watch the birds during the day and the crickets at night. I took off a star for two reasons: 1. There were several holes in the fabric that got stuck. I didn't send it back because I plan on making a new hammock at some point and 2. The design isn't ideal for shy cats. If they move too far to either edge, the bed will turn over and startle the cat. This has happened a few times but luckily our cat has recovered enough from the fright to give the bed another try and she loves it!
