Looks good but it's a thin layer of leather

Overall this is good protection. It works just like any other option on the market. I appreciate the aesthetic look. Orange is a nice color but not boring or too bright. I have no reason not to believe the leather is top quality but it's hard to tell because it's a thin covering over the underlying plastic. At first I was disappointed. that it didn't have the "rugged briefcase" feel, but now that I've had it for a while it's fine. It looks good and will work.
