My daughter gave me this for my birthday so I stopped using it. I had the same experience from the first use when it burned my hair. I also have straight straight hair that frizzes within a few weeks even after a perm! I curled my hair in the morning and after a few hours the curls were gone. I used my daughter's Remington again (same barrel type and no clamp) to make sure it's just because it's summer and the curl took 2 days! I used the same temperature of 400 degrees for both products. Unfortunately 30 days have passed and I cannot return. It was also difficult to hold as the hair kept slipping off, making it difficult to avoid skin burns even with a gloved hand. The glove is even more uncomfortable so it also takes longer to curl the entire head. My hair is below the middle of my back, it's long.
