The lamp was easy to install and wireless charging worked straight away. However, after I screwed in the bulb and turned it on, there were loud sparks and the bulb started smoking. I immediately unplugged it and took out the bulb to find that the bottom of the bulb had melted and the spot where you screw the bulb in was charred and black. I used a regular 40 watt light bulb. It was very unsettling and I'm so glad it wasn't plugged in when I screwed in the bulb or I probably would have gone into shock. I've included pictures to show what the structures looked like. I'm pretty sure the lamp is useless now, but I'm afraid to try again anyway. This appears very dangerous and could result in fire or electric shock! Shame, that's a really cute lamp.
