UPDATE: After attempting the install I have to downgrade this item to Unacceptable due to poorly designed wiring. The plug on the power cord simply fell off during installation without being subjected to voltage, exposing live electrical wires, which is very dangerous. The wiring in this kit is dangerously poorly done. It's not the cheapest, but it's a quality and useful LED undermount lighting kit. They're 120V and don't need a transformer or 'driver' to handle regular household electricity, which comes in handy if you're adapting them to an existing wired setup - although the idea of delivering a full 120V through their tiny terminals and lightweight connecting wires lets them down stop me a little. , and I have doubts about their suitability for code, they are not so different from kits from famous brands like GE / Enlighten "Linkable". They attach with magnets, with small self-adhesive metal plates - although the glue is so awful and useless that you have to glue them in place - and I would very much welcome direct screw attachment as an additional option. The only thing really worth mentioning is that only one socket adapter is included, which means you have to power the entire string of 6 lights or you'll have to do some of your work. own wiring - I ended up ordering a couple of small junction boxes to install on existing wiring circuits without leaving open connections. All in all, not a bad kit, but not a super special one, with a few minor caveats, but mostly useful if you want your lights to run off unmatched 120VAC for some reason.
