I brought my daughter's pit bull from the mainland to live with me here in Hawaii. At her first medical exam I was told that my dog was allergic as she licked her paws 24/7. It was suggested to put it on the lid (restricted ingredient diet). After studying many brands, I realized that the choice would fall in favor of Natural Balance. Another neighbor had a dog with him due to allergies and it worked well for her so I gave it a try too. After about 2-3 months my dog stopped licking his paws completely. A year has passed and she still doesn't lick her paws excessively. I buy with the taste of venison. She inhales it. As soon as she started eating, her stools became much more normal (big "cigars"), while the old food she always ate gave her semi-loose stools. I understand Natural Balance is more expensive but he showed me that this is a quality dog food that meets her needs and she loves it.
