I bought this table for a small area in the kitchen. It arrived quickly. The package was damaged but the table was NOT. It turned out great, no problems with processing, cracks or anything else. I set it up quickly and it was EASY. The table is STRONG. I was concerned by a review that said it didn't fit on a plate of food. Not correct. The thing is solid. The grain was beautiful. I know it's one of those cheap woods, but it looks really good! I painted it with Minwax Whitewash. It is very sweet! I wanted to paint it (you know, chalk rush and stuff) but no, I'll leave it at that. I like it. I can stencil the top. It is true that only two chairs fit under the OPEN table, but I bought it because it is SMALL, not a dining table! I might look for some short stools. I think it's definitely better than anything I could get from Ikea. Definitive!
