I just received this case but I already love it! It sure looks strong! The iPad mini is very thin, more than I'd personally like, so this case gave me just the right "thickness" so I wouldn't feel like it would break in half in my hands. It's also grippy so it shouldn't slip out of your hands as easily as an unprotected iPad. A screen protector is attached to the front. I put a screen protector directly on my iPad and the two screen protectors together do not affect the responsiveness of the screen at all. I like the built in kickstand and it's easy to use. I might get an Apple Pen later, but for now I have a basic Adonit Mark pen so I don't have to touch the screen while I cook. The Adonit Mark Stylus fits perfectly in the pen holder and does not interfere with the case/stand snapping onto the back of the iPad. To be honest I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
