So I bought this hat not knowing that the brim can be folded into 3 sections. Not exactly what I wanted, but it's entirely up to me. Let me tell you a story about this hat. Has colors to match most gears. Looks stylish, doesn't pack a punch and doesn't stand out with weird logos or stripes that draw too much attention. Just boring old hat with these features. Here we begin our journey. Have you ever bought a hat that is uncomfortable at first or after wearing it for a long time? That's not the HAT. After fitting it to your head, sometimes I forget I'm wearing it. It feels like it's a part of me. And adjust?!? Most caps have that annoying clasp when you need to line up the holes and they keep slipping off. nope The strap on this cap is VELCRO (legally known as Velcro). Pull and stick. Easy. The sun is beating down and I want to hide this weird part of my head and any potential hair loss that may or may not be there. This hat has everything it takes to be like a hat. It also looks stylish. Girls have winked at me during practice, so the hat can't be that bad. The hat dries quickly. Check. Contains no metal that corrodes with sweat. Of course. Wait. What is that?" I figured it out, sort of like meeting someone special who isn't exactly perfect but is so close a match that you make an exception .Although I did notice something.At the very edge of the field there is a thin strip of fabric that covers the seams in one long continuous piece.After wearing the hat for a couple of weeks I can already see it slipping, weakening , like the bends of plastic straws I expect failure at the seams 4 stars because it's not perfect.
